Two things I should have included in my first reply.

1) Because I tow occasionally, I added an extra capacity trans pan. No direct effect on the 6.0, but cheap insurance for an important part of the drivetrain.

2) I also added a gauge package (trans temp, exhaust gas temp (EGT), and boost), and I do my best to never shut down the engine until the EGTs (thermocouple is pre-turbo) are at 400 degrees F or lower. This is especially true after towing and/or lots of uphill driving.
