Looks to me like the cylinder became fuel washed, scored the cylinder wall and baked the carbon and soot off the top of the piston?

Definitely washed it with fuel but totally melted it down. Getting sleeved and saved for a new life.

Update: Internals have been done and new pushrods finally spec'd and coming. Once this part is done motor goes in. This should coincide with the arrival of my dakota digital cluster. Bad new delivered today from advanced adapters. The case I have needs to be re-geared to have the required 43 spline input. Mine has the 6 spline and the new ones have 32 spline gears. The other option they gave me was to buy a new T case. Ouch. Did not see this coming as they list the adapters for the 6r140 right on the site. The hidden surprises of a swap I guess. Anyone have and Atlas they want to unload?
