how many fuel filters are in the 2000 E350 V10 gas?

We have a 2000 E350 V10 gas but are not sure how many fuel filters we have. We have been having vapor lock issues and are thinking we need to replace the fuel filter but not sure if there is one or two.

Replacing a fuel filter, or two, s never a bad idea, but you may need to relace the fuel pump to cure your vapor lock issue.

If completely stock there should be only one fuel filter on frame rail just under the driver's seat.

Be sure to bleed off any residual pressure in the system before releasing the spring locks and secondary clamp. Use the best fuel filter you can find, OEM quality or equal.

Yup. Just the frame mounted one. Beware some vans came with a smaller filter and most parts stores don’t list this. If you have the small one (~2” diameter vs ~3.5” diameter), asking for one for the same year Ford Ranger will fit.

If it hasn’t been changed regularly, the quick connects will put up a fight. The metal fuel line release tool will work better compared to the plastic ones.

Agreed, everyone with a late model Ford that does any maintenance to it should buy the Ford ac/fuel line tool or assortment. They are cheap and really about the only way to do the job.
