purchased 2yrs ago @210k - stock
since then maintenance i've needed to get done:
new radiator
new fuel lines.
new vacuum pump
right bank glow plug harness
and if i did not convert to 4$4... i would need a new transmission
i know i want to get new fuel injectors... maybe sometime early next year unless of course i'm forced to beforehand
...I am taking mine in a few weeks for a EGT gauge and bigger Tran cooler.

Great plan. I went with a Ford trans cooler designed for a 6.0L. Quite a bit bigger than a 7.3L trans cooler. Not sure if it would fit in an E-series or not, but might be worth looking into since they're reasonably inexpensive.

The shop I am going to is using another cooler, but knew about putting the 6.0 on the 7.3. It is very reasonable priced as well. I believe it is mention on this site as well:
'02 with just over 76k on the 7.3, looking forward to piling up the miles. Motor is stock other than an Edge tuner/guage with a mileage tune and custom freer flowing exhaust. Planning on leaving motor alone, will be adding the RIP springs/shocks here soon...
80,000 or so on my 2002. Looking forward to racking up a few more now that we are done having kids (meaning no more pregnancies where my wife suffers miserably from what in medical terms is known as hyper-emesis...).
235K on my stock 2000 E-350
I bought the van new back in 2000 and have never had a problem. I had the transmission rebuilt at 220K, change oil every 5000 miles...that's it.
