Need a diesel 6.0 mechanic in Sacramento,CA or Reno,NV area

Hi All,

Does anyone have any experience with a good mechanic who is located in Sacramento,CA or the Reno, NV areas? Desperate to find somebody good. Thanks.

You know, if it were me, I would also post your question in the 6.0 forum on the Ford Truck Enthusiasts website at:

ford-trucks.com

or more specifically at:

http://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum107/

There are 387 people viewing the 6.0 diesel forum right now. One of them may have some suggestions. I believe that there is also a Northern Cal. chapter for the 6.0 (like there is for the 7.3) so you should probably join that chapter in addition to joining ford-trucks.com

Might help if you tell us whether you'll be needing a diesel or gas mechanic.

I used one outside of Sacramento when my AC grenaded Folsom Lake Ford I think. They were fine, had no beef about the work being on a van or SMB etc. which my local good Ford does. I'd go back.
