I'm not sure this is a good idea. I've seen a 6.0 lift a head after it hydrolocked. It wouldn't turn over, and the owner asked my to hook up my Cummins (and a booster pack) for an extra boost to see of the if that would turn it over. It did.... and immediately sounded like somebody threw couple engine blocks in the dryer... Gave us a nice smoke show too.
I'd almost be worried about the 6.4 starter causing damage before you knew you had a problem. The 6.0 starter seems to be fine, when the motor is fine.
