Machine work on 6.0 heads
up to .008" off deck
valve to guide clearance .002" - .0027"
valve recession .013' - .027" prefer .026 - .030"
valve height is 2.225" - 2.230" after milling
try to set @ 2.220" for proper lifter preload
using hardened seats?....Stelite

have only used o-ringed heads on tractor pulling motors
if the heads are properly machined they will last till the new egr cooler goes south...in a van I would completely delete but because California has strict laws then look into https://www.bulletproofdiesel.com/Articles.asp?ID=369

Might consider having them replace both harnesses, upgrade to a BPD Water pump & aluminum radiator, and add an extra layer of the heat shield on the underside of the dog house (barely feel it getting warm on the inside of my Van now). I also had many of the hoses replaced.

Granted it's all an additional cost, but since the FE is out, you're not having to incur the expense of "access" again.
I'm sure all will go well with your upgrades.
Yep, all this^^^. Good stuff. The wiring harness get's cooked in a van. The BPD water pump is nice (I have one) but Dieselsite also has one with a metal impeller for 1/3 the price.

Something else to consider while the engine and radiator is out is the brake vacuum pump. Part No. AC2Z-2A451. ~$152 at AutoNationFord. When that goes you pretty much have no braking unless you are Quadzilla.

All VERY VERY nice!! Especially the 67' PU with the Chevy badge on the front.

Hmmm... a Sportsmobile, a HJ, three FJ's and retirement right around the corner. I should have been a FF! Enjoy!!

I like your choice in vehicles. Friend had one of those in HS - it was a beast!
