Got one in San Diego if you get desperate... my engine is out of the vehicle right now. He was unwilling to lift the body off on an SMB. New heads & studs. Oh so many more dollars going bye bye!

Hope this doesn't post 2x. D&R Rv in Glendale, Arizona. Mainly specializing in electrical and solar, very good, reasonable and easy to deal with.

Pretty close to Fresno in Visalia. I've used them and was happy with the quality of their work. They see a good number of SMBs too.

Dang, I thought you had just put in a BPD oil cooler and replaced the water pump. What happened?

I had a SCT tune put in at the same time trying to get some performance... I guess too much HP as after 3500 miles blew the head gaskets out - Gee just like everyone says but it sure was fun to drive It's going to be really robust now.

Perhaps it's my own selfish thinking since I'm also running a SCT tune but I wonder if the damage to your heads had already been done. Did you have a pretty big spread in your EOT/ECT before you did the oil cooler and replaced the EGR cooler?

Mine is 65rwhp which is considered an "economy tune" by most tuning standards. Still not even up to the same HP that the F series trucks come with stock. My impression is it's more about heat.

Keep the thread going
I just don't know why it dies. Maybe because what's good for one might be bad for another.

I'd rather have the advantage even if I get burned.
