Question about a full floating rear axle.
I have the chance to pick up a full floating rear axle from a 1992 ford E350 van. It is a "32" which turns out to be " Dana 6250lbs. 4.10 Econoline.
My van is a Quigley rig 1990 E250 with a dana front end Model 044BA526-9 Serial # 22090. It has a ring and pinion of 3.73
What would I have to change to put the full floater on my van? I am confused if I need to change the transfer case gearing or front Ring and pinion.
Any and all help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
I would like lower gearing as I have overdrive and a 351 Windsor engine. It is very underpowered and I do not have the need to speed.

Thanks, Wadewaydo. I was thinking that but researching I came across something about the transfer case also.
I had a 78 Westy for years and an 82 Westy 1.6TD now. Love them both.
Thanks again. More research.
