Replacing engine in 2008 Sportsmobile

I've recently had a major problem with my 6.0 diesel in my 2008 a Ford Sportsmobile and would like to replace it with a 7.3 diesel. Does anyone know if it will fit?

It will fit but the better question is will it pair up with the 5R110 transmission. I don't think it will and then there's the whole issue of the wiring harness and PCM.

You would probably be better off sticking a 6.0 reman in there from a reputable rebuilder like Ashville or Kill Devil.

Replacing engine in 2008 Sportsmobile

My engine burned a valve but is getting fixed when it comes out. It’s built to the highest level by Buds Diesel in. Orange County. Cryo treated, head studs, etc etc. 70k on it approx since the build which was big $$. LMK if you have any interest as I’m going with 7.3 gas.
