I wanted to give this guys a shout out. They helped me out of a jam last month. They don't mind working on the 6.0L vans. CIS (Certified Injection Service) 801-487-4937 , on 1556 S & 3rd W in Salt Lake City. I know we're always looking for a place other than a dealer for work we can't do ourselves.
I've seen several posts like this one, including from me. Maybe there should be a sticky with a list of cities/towns and repair shops recommendations.
Especially for those willing and "capable" of working on a 6.0. I certainly have had mixed results from the service writers at the local Ford dealership.

Does anyone have an update on 6.0 diesel service in SLC? Good or bad? I'd like to find a knowledgable mechanic that would do a proper and thorough coolant backflush, and to plumb in a coolant filter.
