Here are recent modifications I did to the Kitten due to high transmission temperatures when pulling grade. In the 2010 E350 6.0 L, there is no room or ability to modify the transmission cooler. This was after two referrals. We ended up building a custom fan cooled auxiliary cooler placed behind the gas tank which happened to be the last piece of real estate left under the van. The cooler will only engage when the thermostat reaches a specific temperature. Unfortunately due to the winter season, I sense the new system has not been fully tested. I will have more accurate numbers next summer. For now, instead of reaching 230*+, we keep consistently 30-40* cooler. Per recommendation we are using 50% mix Amsoil ATF and Amsoil Supershift Racing Transmission fluids.
I had made a brush guard for the Amsoil oil filters and transmission filter in front and coolant filter in the rear. Both bolt to the frame and the 4D battery carrier, which stabilizes the battery carrier as well.

Steering cooler was replaced with an oversized supercooler brand cooler and Amsoil ATF. Also placed a 275A alternator make here in Portland, OR. The 275A Alternator required placing low gauge cable (1 gauge I believe) to the battery terminals. Also dropped the tank and lowered the intake for the diesel cooktop and furnace.
