upgrade a 7.3 starter with a 6.7 starter ford diesel

Just fell across this...apparently changing the snout on a 6.7 starter for the 7.3 powerstroke will get you the faster stronger 6.7 starter at $150ish vs mean green $350 (quick search results)

Anyone done it?

No, but I put a 6.4 starter in my 6.0. Cranks much faster.
