Re: wheels on CL

If it's Quigley pre-05*, it should be 8 on 6.5" (Factory Ford), ditto SMB. After '05* the Ford Quigleys will be 8 on 170mm (SuperDuty Ford Pattern). It wouldn't hurt to double check with the spare before buying something expensive off CL.

As far as rim size if you have 16.5 you should be safe with 16" on up, and that and the width can be determined by your tire choice.

*Edited: I thought it was pre-08 based on Quigley's sale of the last 8 on 6.5 stuff, but see Switchfoot and SheepShaggers posts below for better info!

Re: wheels on CL

Here is a suggestion. I just replaced existing wheels tires that PO had on. I have a good relationship with my local Discount Tire as I try to use them for all my vehicles. I found what I wanted on the internet at Tirerack.com. They seemed to have the lowest price. I then took that in to Discount where they tried to match/ beat it. I had to purchase all the tire protection/ warranty, but the final price installed (after a couple rebates) was almost the same. Now I have new tires with warranty/ free balance/ rotation all throughout the US, and a year no interest to pay for it! Good luck.

Re: wheels on CL

Jage - I was told all 2005 and later Quigleys are 8x170mm bolt pattern front ends (and spacer/adapters put on rear) because they started using the coil spring (not leaf) F250/350 front axle which was set up for 8x170mm. Earlier Quigleys were 8x6.5 bolt pattern and sometimes used Chevy brake parts on Ford vans.

Our 2007 Quigley has 8x170mm bolt pattern in the front and needs 17" rims to clear the larger brakes Ford used that year.

This is correct. Quigley moved over the coil front just after Ford did, and went 8x170 all round. Stock SD front D60 with 8x170 bolt pattern and Adapter / spacer on the rear to convert 8x6.5 to 8x170.
In 08 they moved to the bigger F450 disks like the F250 & 350 (again following Ford). So that means minimum 17" rim. (Maybe that's where the confusion comes in)

Quigley follow pretty much what Ford does with the same model years.
