It probably just depends on the particular model? My Dometic CR-110 was actually a Waeco until Dometic apparently bought them or branded them with their name. It uses a Danfoss compressor that I think(?) is natively a 12 VDC compressor, meaning the complete compressor unit from Danfoss that Dometic uses in that model wants 12 VDC power. And that is just about all that is electrical in in the frig. Other Dometic models may be different given they have been making friges way before the Waeco "deal."
