Alternatives to ~15yo Norcold 4cf

My SMB has a 4cf Norcold, it’s a good size, and keeps food and beer cold.

It’s also loud and uses a ton of energy. We never plug into shore power and run it off batteries charged by solar.

Searching online yields soooo many options.

What refrigerator strikes a good balance of efficiency and price?

Would any options fit in the same cabinet space? Or am I going to be modifying cabinets?

The search feature on the forum is your friend, lots of threads on the subject. Take a look at Truckfridge, the TF130 is their larger unit and I think fits in the same space as the 4cf norcold units. Looks like it’s backordered though, might have to wait or see if one of the van upfitters has one for you. We’ve got this model in our van and it’s super quiet compared to the norcold we had.
