My CO sensor expired a few months ago so I just bought a new one on Monday...and it arrived today! It is the same CCI controls model that came with my SMB. I found a great site that had a killer price, even spoke with the owner, Barbara: Safe Home Products.

It only cost me $57.95 for the black one (white was a few bucks more). The same unit from the manufacturers preferred vendor was $89. I was very impressed with Safe Home products. http://www.safehomeproducts.com/shp2...?category=1230

How hard is it to wire in the new one? I need to replace ours. It's expired also.

Crap these things expire?? Guess I need to go buy a batt powered one as dont have time to order a new hard-wired one. Thanks for the link.

My money is on small propane leak. Of course, Jage's possible scenerio happened to me (did not realize the furnance was on/working -although no Co2 warning).

If you buy the exact same model, it's just a matter of taking out the screws, disconnecting the old detector and matching up the wires with some connectors. Very straightforward.
