Carbon Monoxide/LP Detector Questions

Hi all,
In the nearby thread I posted about issues with a low voltage malfunction alarm from a MTI Combo Detector. http://www.sportsmobileforum.com/for...tor-15945.html

I want to know...
1. Has anyone had experience with detectors sounding alarms at lower voltages? If so which voltages and which models?
2. Has anyone had any positive experiences with detectors working well at lower voltages? If so, which models?
3. Does anyone have knowledge of battery only CO, or LP, or Combo detectors that are made for RV's as opposed to units for the home?
4. What is the best plug-in battery tester/monitor?

Thanks!!
