City Water Input....in black!

I'm hoping to replace the exterior city water attachment on our E250. Ours is a little corroded and doesn't look great.

I'm hoping to find something black in color as all of our other exterior fixtures are black.

Anyone have any guidance?

Thanks!

I almost pulled mine off and just repainted it black. I didn't find it locally made in black. Update the post if you find one.

I just removed mine and painted it black. Turned out great. I sanded it down with 400 grit and cleaned it up, worked great.

I will post a pic tomorrow.

I've searched high and low....nothing! I might just paint the existing one.

Let us know how yours turned out!

Re: City Water Input....in black!

FYI, I think the SMB-installed ones come with a built-in pressure reducer, while the one noted above is simply a pass-through hose connection for filling a tank (from the looks of it).

One .96 can of black spray paint (the black goo underneath is road tar I haven't cleaned off). I did remove and mask it to paint it.

Re: City Water Input....in black!

Looks nice for a non-regulated inlet. I guess if you just use it to fill tanks rather than hook up as a full timer type RVer you'll be fine.
