Collapsible Shower Pan

Replacing our ice chest with a refrig in the same location forced us into a new shower pan. The old one would only fit in our hanging closet and there it took up valuable space.

Old pan location under ice chest was a FREE location. Did not really take up any space.

As I said above putting it in the closet was not a desirable option. So a new pan was required. I decided to make a collapsible one that we could easily stow. Used 40 mil shower pan liner to make the new one.

Were always concerned with the old one of elbowing the shower curtain and have it come out of the pan and drip on the floor. So I over achieved a little on the new one. Made the sides a foot high. It I were to do it again I would make them 8", but I am not re-making the pan.

Last pic shows the new pan collapsed and ready to stow.
