Do refrigerators sold on boating sites work for Sportsmobiles / RVs?

I'm in the market for a new refrigerator, and have heard good things about Vitrifrigo and Isotherm. In hunting for a good price, I keep running into boating retailers that carry them, i.e.: https://citimarinestore.com/en/9-marine-refrigerators-freezers

Do you think these brands sell different versions for boats and RVs? I would think they're the same right?

Also, any suggested retailers that have good prices on these brands?

Thanks

You should consider the truckfridge brand as well. Quite a few members here that are very happy with their products.

I bought a used Vitrifrigo. Forget the model number at the moment. It’s like the big truckfridge tf130. But has the remote compressor. I’m pretty sure they are all the same. The little norcolds that were used in SMB builds were in all sorts of boats.
I had one of those too.

Second the truckfridge recommendation. If I didn’t have this one already I would be buying a tf130. They are having deals right now FYI.

All Truckfridge models are rebranded Vitrifrigo and IndelB, both good Italian made DC fridges that have been around for a long time.

The answer to your other question is yes, boat/marine fridges are usually 12v and the same as RV ones, just often packaged differently.

I'd go Truckfridge. I've had lots of em.
