we too drink from the tank, haven't noticed any sort of taste issues or anything. We minimize what we introduce to the tanks as well, ie no RV antifreeze just good cheap vodka for winterizing and I will periodically flush the whole system while hooked up here at the house.

Cheers,

-d

I sterilized the crap out of our freshwater tank with chlorine per SMB's instructions in the owner's manual. Now we drink from the tank. We usually carry some bottled water as well because it's just easier to grab some cold from the fridge.

Camping world sells water filters that attach to the water hose for about 25 bucks, the water taste great. we also bring bottled water too...it's much more handy to just grab a bottle out of the frig.

maybe this is hype. After I saw this I switched to bottled water, but I never got sick off the tank water. http://www.aquasaverbypjbcompany.com/
