E350 Lt. grey int. plastic paint, where do U find it

As the title says, has anyone found a good matching paint for the Lt. Grey Econoline interior plastic?

I went to an automotive paint shop up in Loveland, CO that had the SEM line of spray cans. I used 15763 storm gray to change my tan interior over to gray, I think it was listed as a ford factory gray. Impressed with the durability and coverage for the most part, I do have to respray the side door handle, but that gets the heaviest use.

I would bet that LVP has a color that matches. I’m actually pretty impressed with the durability of this stuff on my grab handle. My van interior is tan so I can’t recommend which grey to use, but there are several choices.

For the best color match as well as a few other products useful for a top quality and long lasting finish contact a local body shop supply outfit. They can mix relatively small quantities of a specific color you'd choose, package it in an aerosol can much like off-the-shelf materials.

They will also have an adhesion promoter that acts like a primer but more importantly digs into the surface of the plastic forming a nice layer the finish color clings to very, very well.

Lots of good ideas in this thread, and if you want the color exact, follow one of them, yet I'll mention the easy route. I noticed that there's a bunch of different light greys in the same Van: dash, seats, door vinyl, plastic pillar covers, handles, carpet, window surrounds, etc. if the part in question isn't right next to another of the same item, there's a little flexibility on the grey you can use. For a pillar gauge pod I bought, I ended up just getting a few cans from the hardware store, and after roughing and priming, I got it to look pretty close to the other pillar cover, yet matches with the dash color very well, so close enough, for where it is.

As stated above any local to you automotive paint supply store can provide you with interior dye/paint exactly matched to your specific interior color code.

Git a cheap small spray gun from Harbor Freight and recolor to your heart's content!
