Electrical. E350 2006 Ford 6.0. This week I heard about a 4 second whistle

So that is a surepower separator. You should not really look for voltage across the device. The top post (in the picture) should be starting battery. The bottom terminal should be the house battery.

Check for voltage on the bottom side, if you don't have there, one of those three wires goes to the battery. Get a better shot of what that larger wirer is connected to.

If you have voltage there, track the wires to the fuse box, you should run into another circuit breaker like the one on the starcool panel (top left). In fact one of those wires probably goes there. It is possible that has finally tripped, should be a button to reset.

Please give more info on the electrical equipment in the van.

FYI, both of those terminals are battery positive, and to measure voltage you need to reference the negative lead of your meter to ground, thats to say, connect it to a ground source and the positive lead to which ever wire your checking voltage on.

As Artic said you won't see 12 volts across the Separator Terminals. You need to measure from ground to the each of those terminals.

Yep some hate that clicking sound. My Hydronic water pump is what I suspect makes the noise. It also makes the same noise while shutting down and just figure it keeps coolant flowing as it cools. All I hear from the Airtronic is the fan blowing but with low voltage it will do the same; start for a minute, the fan ramps up and if it fails, then the fan makes a slight spin down noise.



To the OP, on my 2006 there is also a ground strip worth looking at. Mine is in the rear passenger wheel well area. But I'd still suspect you have a issue with a positive connection somewhere. There is also a high amp lug located close to the separator where my inverter connects to. I'd check that connection as well provided your build is similar. That's one of the problems...many builds are different. If you see any green on any connections, it can indicate a corrosion issue. Hope you find the issue.

When I unplugged shore power there was a clicking by the control center every 30 sec of so then I plugged in shore-power and the charging of house battery state and slicking stopped

I took more pictures of my 06 E350 set-up Scalf77 labeled one and that is where i started Pulled all fuses in these pictures all were ok Have not found another reset circuit breaker
