My complaint of my refrigerator is there is no thermostat to set temperature. As a consequence in the cold weather I have to set my thermostat down while running. Then adjust up during the night (no furnace).
I t looks like the Engel has this type of setting. Any others?
Every 12v fridge I've seen has a dial or digital temp. This includes every model of Truckfridge. Many of the digital ones are in Celcius though so you have to think about that.
NorCold can be either good or bad. Some swear by them, some swear at them. Mine was noisy, but I pulled it out and remounted the compressor and it is quiet now. I'm a light sleeper and I can sleep with my head next the the fridge cabinet.

Be so kind as to describe how you remounted your compressor. I have a Norcold and it's noisy as hell. Quieting it down is right at the top of my list.
