Furnace/heater question

Hi, I am new to the Forum. Hoping to buy in near future. It seems many of the rigs I’ve seen for sale on here do not have a furnace/heater. Why is that? Don’t you get cold? Thank you!

I know there will be many opinions, but for US, we have a furnace (which means propane too for two burner stove). WE LOVE IT!!! It is a spoiled option, kinda b/c you could use the "Little Buddy" heaters that also run on small/stove size LP. We have used it more and more extending our camping season. I am sure you can use the "Search" button on top of the page to see many conversations about this...but, for us, a great part of Sporty.

If you are used to tent camping in cold weather an unheated van is a luxury. A well insulated van and some cold weather sleeping bags can be quite comfortable.

..and lots of folks only use their vans in warmer seasons.....

If you end up with an unheated van a propex (propane) heater is a good option of if you buy a diesel an espar heater is also a good choice.

They are around $1K-$1100 for either uninstalled.

As mentioned....folks use Mr Buddy portable heaters...not as safe as above, but they work. In either case it's highly recommended that you get a CO detector or combo CO/propane detector.

Thank you, both. I will also use the search function as suggested.
