Help me find this valve

Can't find this valve on-line anywhere. Can anyone point me to it? It is leaking as you can see and wanted to be lazy and hopefully just unscrew the valve part and replace from new. Thought it would be easy to find the valve, but not able to find so far.

1/2" PEX - 1/2" PEX
Original fresh water drain valve from 2005 SMB build.

Thanks!

Thanks Herb. Didn't realize the magic search word was "petcock". That helps.

Usually you can just give a twist on the jamb nut and stop the leak.

Why not just re-pack it?

Good suggestion and question. I am a petcock virgin (leave it!). Will take it apart once it finishes draining and check it out.

Thanks

Graphite or Teflon, pull the nut off, add a wrap to the stem, cinch the nut down and you should be good.

OMG---you can NOT leave low hanging fruit like that and expect us to just leave it alone?????

A lot of items these days are easily found online if only we know their proper names or how they're typically classified. I've struggled for days then suddenly found it, most often doing a simple Google search but looking at the images.

It might just need a good cleaning, then some new packing and snugging down the packing nut will probably work. Check the shaft for corrosion though, if it's badly pitted it might need to be replaced.
