If I'm just swapping supply tanks then no problem. I find I have to provide a little help to get the pump to prime sometimes; like after it has been winterized and there is zero water in the lines/pump.

Then a bit of gravity assist sometimes works (holding the supply tank up). Worse case I've blown into the supply line to get water into the pump or sucked on the water spigot. If you were the squeamish type a quick blast with the portable air compressor would do it too.

Is this the gowesty pump you're using?

And fold down faucet? (not Fawcett like I typed below )

Lots of butcher block style counter tops on eBay right now, Home Depot has em and so does Lumber Liquidators.
Yes, that's the pump and faucet. They are perfect if all you need is a cold water sink.

Dhally, I never heard mine rattle around at all in my Westy but usually I had some water in the tank. I'll be doing this mod very soon with an Aquatainer right behind the driver's seat in a cabinet. I'll report back about noise.

I got this stove from this seller, but one caveat. It did NOT come with a regulator. It should be simple to source, or perhaps the seller can provide one.
I'm borrowing one from another stove I have.

I paid $250 shipped, about half what I could buy the same stove for here in the U.S.

Thanks Scotty, couple more questions...

Does the GoWesty faucet upgrade work with your eBay UK sourced SMEV hob? And, how long did shipping from the UK take?

Shipping was quick. I did not mount the faucet in the sink yet but I think it will be fine. If I have to fabricate a plate for the faucet mount I'm ok with that, meaning if the hole is too big.

I'm leaving town tomorrow for the holiday but can check it out this weekend when I get back. Feel free to PM me and remind me if I don't remember to update this thread.
