LED Penthouse Night Light

Just received my MB 150s with penthouse top. My two small circular LED lights do not work unless the switch by the sliding door is in the on position. This does not make sense, turn the switch on , lower the roof to turn off the big light over the sink, raise the roof, just to use the small round night lights. Are other PH top wire like this of just mine. It would make more sense to have these light directly wired and have the switches on the light control on and off. ?

Easy fix, run a fused hot wire from the house fuse block to the switch.

Huh??? Operating the lights requires lowering and raising the roof???
