Takes 850 watts input power for 600 watts output power. Pay special attention to the input power as your inverter will need a little more than that due to load startup current and inverter efficiency losses.

The inverter is modified sine wave, so I wanted a microwave with no fancy electronics. So far it has worked fine. We generally only use it for cooking a quick side dish like the Uncle Ben's cook in bag rice mixes. They take 3 minutes and no extra container needed. Makes a nice complement to some meat off the grill. Of course I did make some microwave popcorn once, just because I could!
So far I've had no problems.
