New Dometic fridge design

It appears Dometic is working to improve the look and technology of 12 volt fridges.

lt also appears their units are not designed for those of us who consider camping in an RV park nothing more than living an extended aluminum and plastic subdivision and wish to be left on our own in the middle of nowhere.

Yikes!! 15 amp draw? That's unlikely to work for anyone without a generator or shore power.

That is a huge draw, but it's a big fridge - 10CF, or over 280L! Not something most people are going to stuff in a van!

Dometic didn't reveal anything about the variable speed compressor either.
