Dorothy is nearby and tomorrow we plan to take a look....just so happens I have materials from several workouts on Sportsmobile tops...The description possibly points to pass side to pivot bolt shear, front lower shear or....even driver side rear lower bolt&pass pivot? Most messy would be front lower shear, but this needs some exploration...Those springs are soooo loaded in the down position. Boywonder's comments reflect the plan.. Difficult to understand that a latched top can shift so significantly...

I'm replacing my snapped bolt this afternoon, it had the good sense to break at the threads not catastrophically.

If you are in the San Diego area, Ababa Bolt has the proper shoulder bolt in stock, 5 for $11.
