I would like to have an external outside hook up maybe under the van or at the side but it would require temp control at the shower head. Possible?

Obviously the fittings are different and the holes are different, I'm just wondering if anyone's tackled it.

The post above mentions that someone has tried it but I did a search and came up with nothing.

Thanks in advance.
Bump. I also have the older Attwood 4131-4 shower wand system. The wand is broken and the hot water valve is bad. For $82 it's a moderately reasonable (by SMB standards ) plug and play replacement http://www.amazon.com/Attwood-4131-4-Ma ... dmarine-20

but I'm wondering if anyone has found the wand separately since the valve is a rather easy fix and/or had luck replacing it with the newer system. From the looks of it you might be left with a bigger hole (ie., square vs rectangular).

What a great resource this forum is

Re: Rear Shower Valves

My rear wand is one of those. They works OK. Maybe if there was a tempering valve it wouldn't be so hard to adjust the heat. Also it's slightly difficult to get the water out of it when your done. As long as it's pointed up it won't drip

Re: Rear Shower Valves

Here's a better direct link to the one shower noted above (Sagiv). I've been thinking of adding one of these inside the rear doors of my van.

Does anyone know where they can be purchased in the US? I'm not finding anything with a web search.

Awesome fix. I'm not sure how I missed that using the search function. I went ahead and bought an Attwood so it'll be a plug and play operation but maybe someone will have the Sagiv version at the Overland Expo that I can check out for future reference.
