SMB GasOne Stove

We have only the GasOne single burner for winter use and it boils in 2 minutes. The gas cylinders are hard to find and about 5 plus $'s. I ordered a case of 12 as they don't last very long, but are very effecient.
The case 12 price was just over $3 each, including shipping.
The single burner tucks away quickly freeing the countertop space.
The source for the fuel was Calypso Products in TX.

For using the stove on the countertop we glued small rubber washers on the feet to provide a non-slip surface. Love the stove.

I've been able to get those gas cylinders at Sportsmans Warehouse in Reno as a little less then $2 on sale. But, that's not very often. Another good source is a kitchen outlet type store. The kind that sells a lot of commerical type stuff for restaurants. These stoves are very popular in restaurants for at the table cooking, etc. Always paid less then $3.
Not trying to one up ya Patrick, just getting the word out.
We love those stoves too and carry two of 'em.

And the canisters push out somewhat less gas when they're cold. In cold weather, I'm periodically removing the canister from the stove to shake and warm it in my hands.

Garage
I get the cans at my local home improvement center for under $3 a pop. I have not yet gone through the first one I installed in August '07, since I use the microwave for almost all food heating purposes.

We get (more or less) 4 meals out of a canister. We keep a bunch in the Sportsmobile's nooks and crannies.
