Finally Ordered Joolca

After months of research, I finally bit the bullet and ordered the Joolca Nomad kit. Since I don’t have hot water in my van, I thought the Nomad kit would be nice for washing dishes, too. Oh, and I splurged and ordered the double shower. I have an old enclosure but the reviews on this were fantastic and I like that we can move the “entire” bathroom outside. More room to move around inside the van.

Even though it’s a wait till October, I still have plenty to keep me busy till then. This is gonna be fun! A hot shower in Covid times is a beautiful thing.

I'm sure many here will be interested in your experience with the full set-up you've ordered Otter.

While I don't have need one a Joolca I'm fascinated by their system and how it seems so well thought out.

Otter,

We have owned an almost identical enclosure for a while & we LOVE it!!! It's relatively quick & easy to set up, has a zippered divider between the port-a-potty compartment & shower compartment, a full floor and a handful of cool extra touches.

We do tend to use it only on trips where we are stationary for more than a couple of days at a time, mostly due to laziness.

It is a little susceptible to even a strong breeze, but the tie-downs take care of that.

I'm sure you'll enjoy it...

They do seem to have put a lot of thought into their design. And I’m a sucker for their ads.

Glad to hear, Glen, we’re looking forward to it. I also had the thought that this shower stall could function as “the tent” to hold our place when we’re in a campground and need to take the van into town or to a trail. We’ll often take a tent site at the coast because they’re cheap and we qualify with the van. Now to keep someone from walking off with our potty/shower tent...

Same here---some of the most entertaining ads I've seen in quite a while!

Well the Joolca Ensuite Double arrived yesterday, and considering we went out to Sierra at Tahoe this morning for the Van Expo I was able to get a bit of time to unwrap and assemble the Ensuite this afternoon.
Was impressed how quick and easy it was to setup considering we didn't bother to actually read the instructions, and initial impressions are that it is pretty slick and we look forward to hopefully using it next week.
