The exhaust is minimal at the setting I am using and with all the windows open you can barely tell it's on. May still exhaust to the outside as should be done but may hold off for now.
Why would you NOT vent it safely?

Propane stoves are not vented to the outside. Atwood RV stoves are rated for 32,000 BTU output, which is probably close to some water heaters. I do think CO and O2 monitors should be used with any fueled appliance. But I don't think just because it has a flame makes it inherently dangerous to use inside.
