twisting the DC leads to a Norcold fridge

I just had occasion to pull the fridge out. Norcold seems to place a lot of importance on twisting the 12 VDC power leads. The installer at SMB north placed none. Is twisting the power leads important enough to go back in and do it?
The fridge works about as well as a Norcold DE0251T should. It's on the noisy side and runs a lot, but it keeps things cold.

Functionally, not important whatsoever. Done simply to make a bit neater installation. If that will bother you (it probably would bug me) then it should be a simple thing to go back in and change. That said, many folks wouldn't give it a second thought.

Twisting the leads eliminates any magnetic fields created by the current flowing through the wires (think "electromagnet") Possibly they are concerned about that weak field affecting the electronics, but since it's working fine I doubt you will ever have an issue.

Thanks for the replies. I understood Norcold's reasoning. I just didn't know if it was critical or not. I going to leave it be.
