Two OEM Sofa Beds in Econoline?

Hi everyone. I am pondering my third van build and am thinking of the possibility of two folding bench seats in an extended Econoline.

My idea/thought/question is to have two of the factory folding benches in a row, so that they both fold and make a bed that could sleep two adults lengthwise or three kids widthwise.

Does anybody have experience or thoughts about this?

I don't know if the seat bottom slides forward or if the seat back just hinges down. If the seat back just hinges down, it seems really doable...

I am a fabricator, so I can make some changes to hardware if needed.

This plan would give me seating for 10 people and sleeping for 6ish!
(2-4-4 seating)

Thanks for any input.

Hmm... From what I remember from the folding bench in my old conversion van, the seat bottom did articulate forward a bit when folded flat. I suppose have two fold flat into one large bed is possible. Just a matter of spacing them correctly. One issue may be the benches are usually full-width, so getting past the middle bench to the rear one may take some creativity. Or narrow the middle bench so you can get past it.

Another issue I remember about that bench is it was not very space efficient - they don't offer a lot of storage space underneath.
