water tank fittings loose

I was at the beach this weekend and used the sink, noticed a little later water dripping from under the van. The connector near the water pump had worked itself loose. I am guessing I need to go through the system and check all fittings, is it common for them to work loose?

Re: water tank fittings loose

It is not surprising. The pump, depending on how it's plumbed and operated, can generate a lot of vibration that works things loose. I haven't had any issues with PEX fittings, but some of the threaded fittings have loosened over time.
