Where is my AC Mounting Location

I have a 3 year old Sprinter 144 from SM Texas. I paid for the AC mounting and electrical. The problem is that I do not know where to cut into the headliner. From the front of the side door its 24" to the fantastic fan. Going rear from the back of the fan there is what feels like a piece of wood across at about 22" behind the fan. I think this is probably the front support for the AC mount but am not sure. I hate to destroy my headliner opening up the wrong spot.

MB rear a/c prep? Or RV-style rear A/C prep. The MB kit can be mid or rear mounted. RV-prep can be anywhere....

SMB should have the build specs. You may want to call them.

Did you get a copy of the build plan layout - it may show it.

If RV style I think the A/C replaces the vent on some RV's.
