WTB: Penthouse upper bed

Not using your upper bed platform and want to clear up some space? I'm interested! I just bought a SMB and it's missing the bed. I know I can get it new from SMB for $600, but thought I'd try here first. I'm on the East Coast, though, so probably limited to fellow east coasters as shipping would not make sense.

Did you find a bed? Looking at a 1997 SMB for sale, but my fiancé wants the cushions replaced. I'm having a hard time finding them too.

No, not yet. SMB wants $600+ for one. I'm planning on making it myself.

No link just listed in their price list. I’m just going to copy the one in my older SMB for the newer one. Does yours already have a PH bed?

If it doesn’t have one (most people order them, ours was kind of an anomaly), you’ll also have to add the roof hanger attachment points and get that hardware.
