And just FYI the standard Torx bit will work but you wanna be very careful you don't strip the bolt.

Correct- my son bought a standard T but returned it because he was not happy about that.

Funny thing, he seems to be happy to get to Van helping e with Van stuff.... not so quick to respond to other requests for help!

Well, I splurged on Master Torx Kit which includes external, Standard, plus and tamper resistant Torx sockets.

Good news, glad I got it because I needed the TP55 for front 2 bolts. I thought it was odd because no one else mentioned this but needed the external E12 to remove back 2 bolts.

Bad news, bolt pattern does not match! front to back is 11 o.c. on right and 15 o.c. on left pair. Also there is a vertical offset which would require plates fabricated to mount swivel base flush.

Although the passenger seat is manual adjustment, there is ONE wire on it- which I did not notice prior- maybe seat heater? weight sensor for seatbelt alert?

Darn darn darn! Per our usual style this took place at dusk thus the night photo... Bummed. Back to plan A right?

My rear bolts are just 18mm and that's odd that they don't line up. Could that wire be tied to the Airbag stuff?

Oops yes I meant airbag sensor.
Ray called last night. He and his wife were in their van headed to Kings Canyon/sequoia and beyond! He will be off the grid for a week + but he gave me some further instruction. My daughter is in town and we're hiking today so should get another look at it tomorrow -fingers crossed.

I am going order more seat bases for January delivery. Half the order is already sold. Let me know if you want a passenger, driver or both, and a zip code so I can get you a shipping quote. Thxs!

Bump for the current buy.

PM or post your Zip code (and if verifiable business or residential) so I can get you a shipping quote and payment info.

Pricing is $185 for Passenger and $195 for Driver plus shipping costs via FedEx Ground from zip 94127 (San Francisco).

If we do not do the group buy for any reason, I will refund the money in full.

Let me know if any questions.

Thanks,
Ray
