Probably already covered, but I have an electric driver's side seat. Does the base need any modification for the electrics. Is the harness usually long enough to allow movement?

These bases do not work with the power seats. The power seat mechanism takes up all the space that the swivel seat base would need.

I am not sure the seat itself on a power base is the same As a non power seat. It certainly does not have the fore/aft slider tracks needed to mount the seat to the swivel base.

Alright, then I'll stick with what I have ordered. I'll have to look into retrofitting rails in place of the electrics.

Will these work on 1994 Club wagon Chateau with factory quad captain chairs ? Looking to install them on the second row captain chairs. Currently these seat use the factory quick release assembly.

Devine - I have sent you a PM with ordering info.

Steve 460 - perhaps they would work for the second row captain seats. Check below for the drawing (Post #337) with measurements of the floor and seat mounting locations. You could use two passengers, maybe??

Thxs.

I measured my second row seat and floor mounting holes for my 94 Chateau oe captain chairs with quick release mounting plates.

Seat mount bolt spacing:
Front to back 13 1/8”
Side to side 15 7/16”

Floor mounting base :
Front to back 11 1/4”
Side to side 5 1/4”

Doesn’t look like any bases are wide enough to accommodate the 15 7/16 “ width of the seat mounted holes.
☹️

Are the existing bases sloped like the stock front seats? If so, that is a positive.

If the floor mounting plate can be made to work (the 5.25" side to side dim seems really narrow. should that be 15.25"??) then you could create an adapter plate (or bars) for mounting the seats. Bolt the adapter to the seat mount holes on the swivel base and then the seat to the adapter.

Just some thoughts to consider.

yes i was surprised the side to side spacing was so narrow at 5 1/4” on the floor base plate.
Yes they are sloped like the front seats.
Unfortunately the seat belt buckles are not attached to the seats themselves, they are attached lower to the seat mounting brackets. I would need to fab some brackets for them to attach to also.
