Hi Scott.

Just wondering how orders have been going with the 08 Halo, can you get them all LED?
Amber led turn signal? Led daytime lights? Any other newer options?

Your latest lights look even more amazing!

Do you have any pictures or what would they look like?

Cheers Doug

Doug,

My experiences with the 2008 and newer options have been limited since the majority of those interested have the 92-07 style setups (aerodynamic and sealed beam). I have done one setup for the newer lights and they came out decent. The issue we had with that set (mounts were crap) was the light housings we were not OEM Ford units and quality showed. I would be happy to get some more work in on the newer super duty style setups. I will also note my work extends to non-van related vehicles as well. If you have it, I can likely support it in one way or another!

LED technology is not too far off from becoming a viable reality. The product is on the market now, but my experiences with them have yielded a less than stellar review. They mostly offer a much hotter (read "bluer") output that actually offers less usable light than the standard OEM 4300-5500k range. The lights appear brighter when you look at them, but when you look at what they output from the driver's seat it's clear they aren't ready for real use just yet. I have heard rumors that reputable companies are developing product that should be available by the end of the year. Options like led turn signals and halos are available now and offer higher output and visibility than their incandescent relatives.

If you or anyone else is interested in starting a set of lights, shoot me an email and we can make it happen asap!

Scott

Received some customer install photos this morning from a happy camper who can now see at night! The install turned out nice and his SMB is killer!

Shoot me an email to VantageOptics@gmail.com if you are interested in a set for your rig.

Looks sweet. Is that the demon eyes in the last shot ? If so what color are they? Definitely see a set of these on my rig in the near future.
