Re: Ford E-Series Van HID Projector Retrofit lights

Scott,

Do you mean the entire headlight assembly is expensive?

I'm not surprised.

I guess one could sell the existing assemblies once the replacement lights are installed. Wonder what they're worth used?

I'm interested but not able to do this now. Will follow this thread to see if anyone else with 2008+ goes this route.

Cheers,
Brent

Scott,

I have these lights currently fitted.

Can you post a picture of a similar conversion to Projector headlights?

Would you recommend HID or LED bulbs for distance with projector?

Do you need the vehicle to fit them or can I Courier the current fittings & how long?

Eagerly await your response. PM me if you wish.

Cheers, Doug

Doug,
I sent you a PM.

Brent,
Exactly, the light assemblies are just plain expensive compared to the 92-07 versions.

I am more than willing to do a retrofit on the 2008 up lights and would give a discount to the first person interested in this job. Contact me via PM and we can talk 2008-up lighting.

Scott

Re: Ford E-Series Van HID Projector Retrofit lights

Random Friday Special Offer!

I built a set of chrome lights (no led drl) for a customer but they changed their mind and they have been sitting around waiting for a sweet new rig to call a home. I don't think lights this good should be sitting around so I am offering this set for sale at $230 through midnight this Sunday March 1st. Be sure to jump on this deal especially if you are on the fence with the mod. There is nothing wrong with this set; they are simply a spare set that didn't make it to their original destination. They can ship out asap.

Thanks!

Scott

These headlight costs about 240$ each from Ford. They are those I converted in HID with the Morimoto kit. They work really great but they are quite difficult to open to install the kit. The glue is definitely harder than in most of other headlight. I needed almost 8 hours to convert both sides.

Re: Ford E-Series Van HID Projector Retrofit lights

Are the discount lights still available. If so I will take them. Send your paypal address if that is OK. I'm out of town and not always in Wi Fi range so it maybe a few hours before I can get Back to you.

Re: Ford E-Series Van HID Projector Retrofit lights

This morning I bought a set from Scott. Very nice guy and nice looking light. He installed them on my rig and it looked quite easy.

I need to try them out tonight and make the final adjustments. I will post up some photos if anyone wants to see.
