The directions on the alignment are great. It did take a day with the install just because I did not know what all I needed to take apart. If you are in SoCal and get a set I can help and I bet it will be easier without my big ass bumper in the way.

I'm having problems adjusting my headlights. Mine sit to low but the only adjuster I see it the long stem and that only adjusts side to side. wondering if I am doing something wrong or you just cant adjust up and down only side to side.

The vertical adjuster is on the outside top portion of each light and uses a 4mm socket or nut driver. Turning the screw to the right raises the light, to the left lowers it. Take caution nearing the end of the stroke as it's possible to pop the adjuster out of the socket if you force it too hard.

Send me an email and I can assist further.

flickering

Scott,

Have you had any issues with flickering. My LED headlights, (when they were new) flickered in the extreme cold (11 deg F), when first turned on. This lasted about 10 seconds.

Now that they are older (but not used much as hey I only use the SMB when camping skiing etc), they often flicker for the same 10 seconds when first turned on down here in the sunny So Cal temps.

It has not become an issue for me yet. I just wanted to be sure this was not something you have seen before that might indicate a problem with a part I might want to replace?

Please let me know your thoughts.

Thanks,
Sam

BTW, BEST FREAKING LIGHTS EVER!
BEST UPGRADE TO THE SMB EVER (after factory build-out).

Sam,

I have not seen or heard of this yet for the sets I have built, but it is possible that you may need a relay harness on your setup to draw power direct from the battery. The harness install is not a big deal and I do think it will work. Shoot me an email to vantageoptics@gmail.com and I can get you setup.

It's hard to believe but another year has passed and it's already Thanksgiving! We will be having a combined Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale with this year to simplify things a bit. Coupon code VOSMBBF2018 will be good for a 15% discount on all items from the website starting tomorrow 11/22 and ending Monday 11/26. This is the best time to get some VO gear and save some hard-earned cash for the Holidays!

Whew... these look nice. One more thing added to the wish list.

BTW - you may want to edit your first post in this thread for current website and pricing info. Prices are slightly different than when this thread was first started.

Unfortunately the first post has been locked for years so it cannot be edited. We have upgraded every aspect of the product from that time as well and the asking price and quality reflects the increase.
