Personally I would choose the default Hylux ballasts. They have an attractive price, very low failure rate, and they are easier to install than the Morimoto units. As a side note, Hylux now manufactures the Morimoto ballasts as well so fundamentally speaking they are one in the same.

Ok im back already.... how do i determine the wattage rating of the hylux ballasts? I see them listed as hylux ballasts but with no corresponding wattage rating... or do they only come in one wattage?

Chinook,

We can supply whichever ballast you would prefer. We always recommend talking it through first before ordering so you get exactly what you want. Current orders are being fulfilled with the 45w A0050 Hylux units.

The Product Descriptions page has been updated with the current products. This industry is quite hard to keep up with as products evolve and change month to month.
