A couple of electrical questions for someone who's less of an electrical dumbass than myself:

The directions say to connect positive to the "fuse block terminal." I google search reveals that some fuse blocks have a positive terminal in the middle. Mine doesn't. (see pic)
I'm assuming where I connected it works (It's labeled +, the one next to it is labeled "alt") but I'm always a bit shy about hooking the battery back up before I'm sure. Any thoughts?

And, the negative connection for the passenger-side light is close enough to connect it to the battery. Can I do that, or is a chassis negative preferable?

Thanks for any advice!

You have the 12v lead connected correctly. The passenger negative connection is easily made in the factory location in the corner by the starter relay.

How is it already October? We have been insanely busy building lights and working through new product development. One new product that we just launched is a set of laser cut and formed stainless steel ballast mounts for the Econoline vans. Known fitment at this time is the 97-current vans with the gas and 7.3 engines. We need a 6.0L variation to test but we are quite certain they will work perfect. Check out the link below for details and the video to show how easy they are to install. They can be added to current setups as well if you wish to have a cleaner install and easier access to the ballasts.

In other news, since we are into a new month, the current SMB coupon code is SMBOCT20VO

There are versions that are, but we have to use your original used headlights in good condition (clear lens, no broken tabs, etc).

Well, the Holidays are here and we have parts in stock! Use coupon code
VOHOILIDAYS for free shipping and a 10% discount good though Jan 3. Please note that we are doing our best to process these custom builds and need about 2-3 weeks to get them out the door (most sets are done much quicker). Thanks and Happy Holidays!

Here's a teaser for our newest Econoline product, the VO Underhood Service Light Kit

https://www.vantageoptics.com/shop/V...Kit-p276199702

Ford Econoline vans from 1992-2007 (08-current kits in process) do not have any provisions for light in the engine compartment. If you've spent any time around vehicles you are aware that they never break or need work when it's most convenient! This kit aims to provide an easy to install light kit that provides plenty of usable output with a push button on/off switch. As an added bonus this kit allows for an optional remote light and extension kit to provide light exactly where you need it on the vehicle.

Features-

-Application specific kit (universal also available soon)

-High output LED light with aluminum housing

-Push button on/off switch

-All wiring/connections provided

-Fused power lead for protection against over-current

-Minimal modification needed to install

-Single Weatherpack lead for system expansion

-Optional remote Profile magnetic work/camp light assy
