I agree. #1 with solid and second color, if possible, instead of outline. I prefer the horizontal layout of #1. The ones with lines on the sides of the mountains look like tents to me. Unless your fabricating tents, then that would be the one.

Logo help please
Yes, looks like tents to me me too. I like #1, with block numbers in green, lettering and everything else in a dark grey/white.

I like the mountain logo in #2 (or #1).
I'd suggest a variation of #1 or #2 for some placements (I prefer #2), and a second variation of #5 or #6 for other placements, using the same mountain logo and the same font/colours. I'd nix the interaction between the 0 and the F in the horizontal version.
Cheers,
Brent

#2: Darken the outline of the numbers if it will be used as a decal otherwise my squinting eyes won't be able to decipher through the windshield.
#6: Linear layout works with both numbers and letters solid, I like the split/offset in name.
I think you need a First in the horizontal style and a First in the Compact style to cover; if it's only ONE choice - I say #2.

I'm digging your black and white version.

My 2 cents..
The triangle of the mountain is your boldest element. Rather than having competing, disjointed visual aspects, I would integrate the lettering to strengthen the triangle concept.
(Quick and dirty sketch, but it should give you the general idea.)

Pretty much everyone will step on their 'willy' once in a while.
I usually make it a point to stop and put on my golf shoes first..
