so i hooked up to 30 amp shore power and was out testing the a/c system. The unit came on fine and was blowing cold for about 10 mins. Then it just shut it off and could not get it restarted... no tripped breakers or fuses.

I did read about a manual reset breaker 40amp maybe? a red push style but unable to locate that. does anyone have advice?

the 12v blower fan for the a/c does not come on now either.

Welcome, seems like a nice rig. Can't help with the fuse/breaker, but I'm interested in the answer. If you don't get a reply here you might try the appliance and interior or electrical forum.

There is a ton of information on this site if you look and search for it. Suggest you read through this recent thread:

Thanks for the links guys. I now have working ac on both shore power and also works with just built in onan generator.

I will go to the junk yard to find a replacement fan and report my findings

I suggest pulling the seized fan motor and looking for a comparable part number online. Faster and more reliable I reckon.

1997 Dodge Factory Build Sheet

I had the same issue as a new owner of a '97 delivered with a partial Owners Manual and alot of the interior had been replaced.

If you write to Dodge and include your VIN, they will send you a factory build sheet for a '97. Great for figuring out what came from the factory, and what the Sportsmobile build added when it was new. It can't help you with that odd switch that nobody knows what it was for, though.

FYI- for 1998 and newer Dodge models, you can access the (Vehicle Equipment Listing (build sheet) online with your VIN
